Strange feelings. Days ago I finished my internship at the European Secretariat of JEF Europe. Now, I am just a few minutes ahead of taking my plane back home after one year abroad.
Looking back these last six months in Brussels I realize that I have learned a lot, not only by the experience of being in a complete new city, but also the chance I had being and working together with my colleagues at the JEF office. First professional experience in my field, and I have to say that I could not choose a better place for the internship.
I have been doing several stuff, from being involved in projects I was very interested in, to research also for my Master Thesis, but also administrative and office stuff that is always good to learn. Actually, although my period of internship is done, I have still some issues to finish, or to start. At this point I am so involved that it is strange to think my period of internship is over. Or that I was doing an internship.
This post is a tribute to all of the people I worked with at the organization. To all new friends I have done in the last month, not only in/from Brussels but to all Belgium, Finland, France, Italy…and a long list of etc. Thanks to all of you that helped me since the beginning and shared your friendship to me. True Europeans from everywhere. I cannot write all names because I could overload the bandwidth of my blog! But of course they know, you know, I am speaking about all of you. Keep pushing guys, Europe needs us!
See you soon in Europe.
